The annual Harry and Roger trip on the American Angler experienced outstanding fishing for bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna and yellowtail.  This was a 6-day trip from July 28 to August 3, 2012.  We fished off-shore for tuna and then went further south for the yellowtail.
The ideal fishing line for this trip was 30# fluorocarbon or mono, with 50# spectra. I used an Accurate BX2-500N, Calstar 875H, 350yds of Izorline 50# spectra with Izorline 30# fluorocarbon and a 2/0 Mustad 94150 J-hook (so you can have fun and swing). I am working on getting Accurate to be a sponsor for this trip next year so passengers can demo an outfit similar to this next year. Check with Lori at the American Angler office for their 2012/2013 schedule.

Hope you enjoy the photos from the trip. Checkout the sonar screen.  That was typical of most of the stops.  SWEET !!!!!  A big thanks to the American Angler crew and skipper Brian for locating the bitting fish.  We all had a great time.
